Permalink Reply by Thomas Blake on March 7, 2011 at 2:16pm There seems as if there is a way to only show on the BOM table the balloons I have visible. I ballon out say 10 parts and when I insert the BOM all 108 parts show up and I have to hide all of the other 98 parts by hand. Making a configuration seems time consuming because wouldn't I have to exclude all of the parts I don't want from the BOM?
Permalink Reply by Deepak Gupta on March 7, 2011 at 10:52pm There can be several ways to do it.
1 Multi select the parts and set the property "Exclude from BOM". Create a display state in the assembly and hide the parts you don't want to show.
2. Multi select the parts and set them to suppress for a particular configuration. This way they don't show up in BOM and drawing.
