SolidWorks Geeks

Recently I have noticed a pattern at my current job. We are using a lot of the same cuts out on several different projects which means every time we are using that i have to create a new sketch in the new parts.I have recently started created a block library of different cut outs. That way all we have to do is drag the block into the sketch and we are essentially done with it once it is dimension and relations are add.  I was wondering if there a better and maybe more effective way to do this?

Create library features and use them by simply dragging them on the face/plane and define the position.
I agree you can make forming tools to do cutouts on sheet metal parts. Is the part always the same? Or rather what variations of the parts are there?
There aren't really any variations of the parts, they are just completely different parts that use the same cut outs.

Did you looked at the library features. You can check few available under Design Library > Features

Deepak, I did check the library features and that is probably the best way for our company to go there is only one question I am not sure of. Is there any possible way of rotating any of these features as you bring them in.
