Mechanical Engineer, Semiconductor Fabrication Equipment, Cambridgeshire (local candidates or candidates with work eligibility)


Objectives and Responsibilities:



Mechanical engineering and development of the Company’s bespoke special purpose scientific equipment.

Under the guidance of senior engineers to provide input to technology
projects focused on improving and advancing mechanical designs,
processes and systems.



The ideal candidate will have the following profile:



Engineering degree in a mechanical discipline or equivalent qualification/experience, (higher degree preferred)

Good project skills, able to priorities and coordinate activities.

Good communication skills and leadership potential.

3D CAD design experience (Pro-E Wildfire preferred)

Microsoft office capable (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Experience in material science would be beneficial.

Experience in vacuum systems, pneumatics, gas systems, automation an advantage.

Professional registration with a relevant Engineering body encouraged and preferred.

Experience of ERP systems (SAP)

Accurate, thorough, consistent, pro-active, assertive

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Team player

Able to integrate into international team of experts while developing personal experience.
