Need to add 1/16th of an inch to centre...
When I add it the part goes all out of shape. What is it that I'm doing wrong?

Can't open your part file, almost looks like you uploaded the temp file SW creates when you are working with a part file.

Steve if you see ~$ in front of the file name, then assume it is a temporary file that gets created when you open you files and they get removed once you the files.
Moving back to your issue, as Mark stated we'll need you to post the actual file or even a picture might be useful.

I added one through all 1/16 Inch dia hole. And if you mean this only, then I'm getting it done without issues. Can you post a picture of what you are getting when you try to do the same (or may be something different which I might not have understood).
