SolidWorks Drafter - Pasadena, CA

Responsibilities



Provide drawing support to the engineering staff

Check parts for interference and adherence to standards

Apply appropriate design rules for clearance and tolerances when not defined by the engineer

Provide design detailing as needed

Communications with dispersed team across the United States

Requirements



SolidWorks certification and have at least 1 year of SolidWorks experience

PDMWorks experience is a plus

Previous experience with drawing standards that meet ANSI Y14.5M - 1994 requirements

An AS degree in Design Drafting or Engineering Drafting is preferred

Experience in instrument design and ultra -high vacuum systems is preferred

Candidates must be able to work in a large project R&D environment
