SolidWorks Enterprise PDM Workflow Automation - Document Reference Validation Add-In

Hi Everyone,

The workflow feature in SolidWorks Enterprise PDM provides greater flexibility to define life cycles for documents in the vault and control them individually.

However, users cannot apply the “Out of the BOX” EPDM workflows to change (hold or release) the document lifecycle from one state to another based on its reference document lifecycle state.

I am glad to represent BWIR the SolidWorks Enterprise PDM Solutions & Services partner to SolidWorks have developed Document Reference Validation^© tool which is an admin-configurable and interactive Add-In.

The tool will help the engineers to have rigid control on the lifecycle status of a document based on pre-defined settings applied to one (or more) of its documents referenced.
