SolidWorks Geeks

I have solidworks 2011 I also have Autocad LT 2007. In autocad LT you are able to apply line styles that look like this

--hot--hot--hot--hot--hot--hot--hot--hot

<-<-<-<-<-<-<-<-

< - < - < - < - < - < - < - < - < - < -

> - > - > - > - > - >

In solidworks I've only been able to create styles like this

- - - - - - - -

_ _ _ _ _ _

-----------

--- - --- - --- - --- - --- - --- ---

How can I create the autocad lines styles with the arrows and letters in solidworks? Or is it even possible.

Thanks For the Help in advance!!!!! :)

Right Click on the Ribbon, and activate the Layer Toolbar. Then, try to create a new layer, by clicking on the "Layer Properties" button, and defining color, style, lines etc. If you want to transfer the Autocad lines to SolidWorks, i don't know an other way, besides to see the fonts and the line styles from AutoCad, and "copy" them (by selecting the same, i mean) to the SolidWorks layers.

Though, I think that the SolidWorks line styles are not in difference with AutoCad's, because they use the same standards.

I think the easiest way is to, copy some thing from autocad and paste it into solidwoks, and then save the line styles.
