Any suggestions on this
There is a Gap in the sketch which might be preventing the sweep? OR do you have other issue?

Hello Deepak,

I had a problem with the area where the helix connects the tang. I have attached new file that has scan data of actual part. There is a sharp at the connection that I need to smooth it out.

You can smoothen that area by using fit spline option. Check the attached video showing one of the way to do it.

Hello deepak,

Could you please post me that file you have worked on?

Also I need to show the arc/radius value in that area on my drawing. can we dimension the spline? If so how?

I have a higher version of SW so not sure if you open that up. You can use the base sketch to dimension the radius.

Hi Deepak,

I have 2010 SW version as well. Wanna check the approach

No problem I'll create the file again (as I didn't saved it) but have you refereed to my video, I have recorded step by step of what I did.

Hi Deepak

Thanks for the video.

The video gave me a clear picture and I did it too.
