I got Mechanical Desktop with R14 since 1999, and been using it ever since. I got SolidWorks from work and am having a blast. However, until I figure out how to get free CAM conversions from SW I will probably still do my G-code with R14 and ACE.

It had been 4 yrs since I have used AutoCAD but still believe that still AutoCAD is the best 2d tool.

Well, I hope to keep you guys on your toes. I am a non-reformed AutoCAD user. Kick me out if you want, but I can not quit using acad. I use both on a daily basis. Although, I must admit that the autocad I am using is v.2000 and that is all the company has. All the other guys here only use acad, so I can't quit cold turkey. I need to keep up with both, and sometimes it is a bit fun!
